Koran Hasanagic

Hometown: New York, NY
Genres: Blues, Jazz, Pop/Rock, World
Biography:
Koran started his life somewhere in the Balkans where people are known to speak in D minor, swim in the ice cold green river and are extremely sensitive to the air draught. Music is sad and haunting in this part of the world but there is a southern wind called Bura that brings a sound of joyful love ballads harmonized in a major key by the fishermen from the Adriatic coast. His early exposure to such contrasting musical aesthetics might, in case that the sensitivity to draught doesn\'t, shed some light on the current state of his hairdo.

After spending some time in European countries, Koran found his way to the North American continent and settled down in New York City. Although, before making it to the Big Apple, he made a couple of other stops, one of which was a fancy east coast music school where he was part of an elaborate and systematic training on how to forget about music and comb ones hair in a proper way. His other stop was to the nearby gas station where he purchased enough gas to make it to Brooklyn were he currently resides, writes music and lays down hot tracks on his computer. When not on a tour, Koran performs five nights a week in the local venues, a lot of them French restaurants which feed him onion soup and red wine.
